Performing informal commerce activities

A mimicking act, in Mexico approximately 60 % of the active economic population work under an informal scheme, this performance was a reference for this fact. During one year, a parking space of my parent’s house was transformed into an informal business, a sculptural-architectonic installation that provided the conditions for selling food. Every weekend the doors of this small business where open to catch the attention of the people that passed by, kilos of paella where produced and sold, a beautiful alchemic process, that went trough the raw ingredients to a meal and finally into money.
