Our common shapes 2
This exhibition is a study of the complexity embedded in the shape of things, much like how architecture and cities represent tangible embodiments of power hierarchies, economic flows, social disparities, cultural diversity, and technological progress.
The unnoticed beauty inherent in single-use plastic packaging has been wrested from its original function to become a portrait of our society. Almost like an instant fossil, this series of objects materializes the present moment, inviting the audience to contemplate the broader implications of how our lifestyle shapes our world.

Ornament confessions

A series of sculptural installations and architectonic interventions that respond to the specificity of a site while evoking a universal understanding. Conceived as a tectonic system rooted in friction and compression, the project integrates recycled materials with contemporary technologies. By reinterpreting ancient knowledge—particularly craftsmanship in the building process—it creates a dialogue between tradition and modernity. The work questions the functionality of ornamentation and its relevance in the present.

Be the ramp
in collaboration with FAT (Anja Tveiterås & Fredrik Alden Thorsen)

Made entirely with recycled materials and situated at the main entrance of ROM for Kunst og Arkitektur in Oslo. The work functions as a temporary public intervention and a metaphor for accessibility, making thresholds and level differences tangible. Acting as a 1:1 prototype, it demonstrates how a permanent intervention could be realized.  The project questions whether existing standards for accessibility are sufficient, or whether accessibility should also be measured by the degree of respect and dignity experienced by the user.
